After much research I have found that sixtuple is not actually a word!
Are you trying to make yourself sound intellectual?
Maybe if you rotate the letters around it makes a proper grown-up word?

Not even by Fred0's "seriuspoast" post in the Fred0 "comedypoasts" thread?

Well, only 12700 hits for the alternate spelling, I guess that's pretty rare.
I'm guessing the trap was to make me spend a few seconds actually checking that the original ca. 1900 spelling is "sextuple" (like the nautical instrument).
So again, your greatest objection is I'm using a word you do not approve of to say 'six of a kind'? Fascinating. Tell me more, this thread will go places.
Edit: 1626, not 1900. My bad. You seem like the kind of person who would be intrigued by this addendum.
CRINGE! CRINGE! CRINGE!
Oh god. First Fred0 makes a terribly serious arugments response to the comedy quotes thread, now Ernest is writing terribly serious semantics posts to try to defend his literacy.
Haven't you guys got bigger things to worry about given that your alliance is collapsing around you?

Originally by: Ernest Graefenberg D I need your expert advice General Windypops, such a connoisseur of subtlety can certainly help me
I'll tell you what I'd have done if I were in your shoes. I'd probably have neutralised the attack by posting something slightly self-mocking (possibly some reference to friendly fire on your alliance mate's ships?) and added in a knowing, tongue-in-cheek reference to 'rotation' somewhere to show you're a good sport. I'd have finished by turning the attack back on your aggressor by asking them a question in reply (thereby putting the onus back on them to come up with a killer post).
